Re: Pilot of Luxemburg Fhr Eugen Bohler

Never heard that Luxemburgers flew in the german Luftwaffe. Anyhow Eugen (Eugène) Bohler sounds very luxemburgish. Luxemburg was occupied by Nazi Germany during 1940-1945. Alzey is, as far as I know,
not listed as a city, nor a town or a village as well in Luxembourg. The spelling might be uncorrect. Citys or towns like Esch/Alzette (during occupation time Esch/Alzig) or Alzingen are real existing towns on luxembourg's soil and their speling comes close to Alzey. Hope this will be of some need for your investigation.

Dear Remi,

Are you sure that the pilot is from Luxembourg? I know of some Luxembourgers that were in the Luftwaffe. They were volunteers. If you have more info on him, I can be of some help to you to find out more. Please feel free to contact me.
