Dear All,

Can anyone tell me the EXCACT crashsite of B17F 42-30807 "Katy"

If you know the crashsite please let me know,

Thanks in advance,

Re: B17F 42-30807 305th Bomb Group

Michel,

I have a note (and nothing else...) that 42-30807 came down near the hamlet of Dorne between Dilsen and Opglabbeek, Belgium.

Groet,

Leendert

Re: B17F 42-30807 305th Bomb Group

Thanks for your answers guys.
Now I have 3 different possible crash locations
- Dilsen
- Eisden
-Dorne

Now I need to pinpoint down where the plane actually came down.
I am in touch with relatives of one of the crew members and they would also like to find out. The airman himself thought that he had landed on a roof in Germany after he had heard the emergency bell ring while they were flying over the location where 3 the countries come together (Belgium, Holland and Germany)
So any information is welcome.

Thanks again,

Michel
