Lt Raymond W. SEEDORF 367th FS

Hi all,

do someone have any information about WWII adress of Lt Raymond W. SEEDORF, KIA on april 22th 1945?

he was flying in the 367th FS, 358th FG.

using ancestry.com, he was returned for burial after the war to New York.

have you a copy of his MACR, Missing Air Crew Report? It may contain his Next of Kin Address?

available from www.footnote.com free with initial trial sign up.

The 1930 census has one Raymond W Seedorf born 1924 living in
Rockville Centre, Nassau, New York

The whole family and ages are:

May A Seedorf 35
Mary M Seedorf 11

I hadn't asked for MACR or IDPF before, I just was at the beginning of that search.

-Armed Rec Mission.
-6/10 clouds.
-!6.50 hours mid-air collision with Red flight's No. three.
-Seedorfs ship (Yellow two) spinning down with the whole tail sheared off.
-P-47D-30RA, No. 44-33357, MACR 14109.
-cr and exploded into flames at Uttenweiler, 25 mi S-W of Ulm.

No luck to die in such a mid-airvaccident after monthes of dangerous and successfull war missions...and just some days before VE day!
