Ju 86 D-1 wk 5083 21/8/44
Hi
This plane was referenced for destruct in Tavaux am 21/08/1944 100% in Ultra files (thanks RT) Before in 1943, it was found like this : Ju 86 BFS 6 (Lw.Befh.Mitte) Non-OPS (S) engine failure and crash landed (50%) near Wesendorf 05.04.1943 (F Uffz. Karl Merkle, BF Uffz. Walter Barschew, BM Uffz. Michaelis Krauß, Sch Uffz. Erwin Lein, Sch Uffz. Dietrich Lischke, Sch Gefr. Anton Stehle and Sch Gefr. Fritz Maschke injured) (rep as Ju 86 ´56083´ in LW Schulen losses 07v05.04.43 So, the plane was certainly repair after ... The plate in picture was found on ground at Tavaux Airfield . So who can help for détails of accident, i found no claims ... For moment, i'm allways in research about his unit ... Thanks by advance, Dan
