296: Walter Krupinski - Jagdflieger, Geheimagent, General
Walter Krupinski
Jagdflieger, Geheimagent, General Kurt Braatz Neunundzwanzigsechs Verlag, 2010 Laminated hardcover, 336p. ISBN 978-3-9811615-5-7 http://www.neunundzwanzigsechs.de/main.php Just received my copy yesterday from 296 after ordering it directly from the publisher only a couple of days earlier and started reading ASAP. Looks like another winner from Kurt's hands. The writing is good, the publication work excellent. Everything we'd come to expect from 296. Although I've only arrived at the eve of Barbarossa I'm sure that what will follow will be of equal or even better quality! Just some further thoughts. After Rall, Wolfrum and Krupinski, could we hope for Gerd Barkhorn? If anyone could do the man justice it would be Kurt Braatz. Also the cover of "Das Programm" for the winter of 2010/2011 carries a color photo one of the Fw190 A-8/Ns. Might that be a hint of things to come? Can we expect something similar to Project 262?
