The Luftwaffe's Blitz

For those who have been asking, despite the best attempts of work to get in the way, I have finished the first draft of the above book-57,000 words and 260 photos. It will be published as planned by Crecy on or about August this year. It covers the Blitz from German aircrew perspective for the period 1 Nov 40 to 11 May 41

Re: The Luftwaffe's Blitz

Hi Chris

Do you have an ETA for your book as Amazon have just emailed me to say that the book has been delayed and they have no confirmed date of publication?

Regards

Austin

Re: The Luftwaffe's Blitz

Gentlemen. Thanks for your interest and kind comments. Proof read a third time, index completed and final draft sent a week and a half ago. I have been told 4-6 weeks and the price and 'blurb' is as follows:

http://www.crecy.co.uk/product_info....roducts_id=495

However, look at Amazon......................

Chris

Re: The Luftwaffe's Blitz

You (and I) will be pleased to know that the book arrived at Crecy today and will be on the shelves by the weekend so those who have ordered should get them very soon. Crecy are pleased with it, especially photo quality, but I will have to wait unti, tomorrow to pass judgement. I hope those of you who have ordered it are not disappointed!

Re: The Luftwaffe's Blitz

Arrived last night. Format is smaller than my BofB books but paper quality is good which has meant than photo quality is good. 264 pages (including 57 pages for Appendices) and 268 photos (inserted into the text). Am I pleased with it? Yes but that is not for me to decide but the reader! Quite surprised they kept the £18.95 price tag so it will be even cheaper on Amazon
