Action III/JG52 in 14.07-01.08.43

Hi,

could somebody provide some details about action of III./JG52 from Orel and Iwanowka in the second part of july 43? How many planes were transfered from area of Lfl4 to Lfl6? Einsatbereitschaftreports?

Barbas book did't contains any additional info.

And another question: is Pawel Burchard's excellent research work anywhere available online?

Best regards

I'll be uploading somewhat updated versions of the pages soon. I do not remember if there was substantial FB/LB information from III./J.G. 52, as I primarily concentrated on K.G. 100, 55 and 27 recently.

Thanks, Pawel. I just look for explanation why III/JG52 did't claim any single shot between 19.07 and 27.07.43 even the other group from JG51 and 54 were more successful. At that time major soviet offensive run toward and around Orel
Any technical problem after redeployment to the north or "foreign" group was dedicated for escort mission?

As it turns out I've got two FB copies (parts of them) for III./52, one of them is FB Rall. Around 19.07.43 there's transfer from Orel (Rall gives a name of airfield as Sowjetski) to Iwanowka with one Kurierflug to Karatschew. Regular Feindflüge from Iwanowka commenced on 23.07 (Freie Jagd, Begleitschutz f. Ju 87, Ju 88) all without Feindberührung. Three victories on 28.7.

Appologies to Pawel

I seem to have missed your home page. Perhaps it is in a language I don't understand and that is the reason I have no saved it, but if not could you guide me to the right position?

Cheers
Stig
