Canvas bag with the Nazi symbol. Request information
Hello everyone,
Recently I was given a bag of cotton left in a cellar (in the proximity of Viterbo, Central Italy). It was certainly belonged to the German Army. On one side is printed the Nazi eagle. On the other hand, there is a code (H. Vpfl.). Can anyone tell me what that means? Thank you in advance Victor I send two photos of the bag. |

Re: Canvas bag with the Nazi symbol. Request information
Hello Victor,
H. Vpfl. means IMHO “Heeres Verpflegungs-Sack”, in English “Army Rations Bag” or “Army Grain Bag. Army means in this case “Wehrmacht”. Hope this information supports you. Best regards, Hansjurg Kohler |
