Babe Whitamore and 601 Squadron
His claims with 601 Squadron are as follows...
Aces High 02/09/1942 bf109 damaged 30/09/1942 bf109 damaged 09/10/1942 bf109 destroyed 19/10/1942 bf109 probable 23/10/1942 mc202 destroyed and bf109 damaged 07/11/1942 bf109 destroyed (shared with another pilot), bf109 damaged Fighters over the desert doesn't mention the damaged claim of 02/09, or the damaged claim of 23/10. Does anyone have more details? regards
