92 Squadron codes
Hoping that someone might know the suffix letter for Spitfire N3248, Biggin Hill 1940. Thanks for any help.

According to my references 92 Sqn used GR code letters from Nov 1939 to end of 1940 when they changed to QJ, though other references say the change to QJ occurred in Feb 1941.
Some QJ coded Spitfires shown in BoB photos are attributed to 92 when they are more likely to be from 616 Sqn N3248 was lost on 20th Sept 1940 so some one must have a note of the individual code letter
