Kamp seaplane base location

Hello,

I would like to know the location of the Kamp seaplane base used by the Luftwaffe in 1939-1945.

Google search finds nothing (possibly due to Google also searching camp...), except if Kamp is the same as Kampen village on Sylt island.

Thanks in advance

Laurent

Re: Kamp seaplane base location

Kamp was an village from Kreis Greifenberg/ Pommern, later named Kępa. Today this village doesn't exist. The place nearest Kępa was/is Ostrowo (the former Wustrow) - both belonged to the Gmina Trzebiatów (Treptow an der Rega).

Best wishes

Re: Kamp seaplane base location

Thanks Rasmussen,

With your help I have found Kepa/Kamp on German wikipedia, with a link with Google Maps with coordinates:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C4%99pa_(Trzebiat%C3%B3w)

One hour to close the subject, not bad time...

I have this as Kamp bei Kolberg, now Rogowo near Kolobrzeg. See image.

It's the same place (have a look on the left - there is Treptow/ Trzebiatów).

Best wishes

Airfield and See-Flughafen can be clearly seen on Google Maps. Not much has changed.
