Looking for info

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine is looking for information about his distant relative (fathers cousin). All we know about him is:

Chester Nagorzanski,
Born 1923
Served in USAAF, probably as a pilot. listed as having been a POW
Buried in Middle Settlement Cemetery, New Hartford,NY 1968

I know it's not much to go on, but if anyone has any information about Chester Nagorzanski's service in the USAAF, or any tips on where to look, my friend would be very grateful.
