Seeing location info on 4./KG76 Do17 believed down 1.6.40
Hello,
Hello, Just posted on eBay auction this photo of a 4./KG76 Do17Z after it crash-landed. In the EOE DB we carry this as down at Haeghe-Meulen, a small village half way between Hondschote and Bergues, France on June 1, 1940. I can't make anything useful out of the location of this incident handwritten in German on the back of this photo. Can anyone decipher this? 'Ju117 - bomber abgeschossen bei Warhem' so our location is correct.
