Crashed Spitfire

I have a picture of a crashed spitfire.Shot down in France 1943.
Markings OU-F.

Would anyone have any information regarding squadron etc

Believe it was the 485 Squadron RNZAF, they used OU

No.485 Sqn RNZAF
Spitfire IX BS543 OU-F

Ramrod 212 to Le Havre. Damaged by Fw190s, forced landed at Bolbec. Initially PoW, escaped within 45 minutes, evaded via Spain-Gibraltar. Back to UK via Liberator.

NZ413919 F/Sgt Leslie Samuel McQueen WHITE RNZAF . (later DFC,MiD)

Photo of BS543 in Royal Air Force Fighter Command Losses Vol.2. p.116 (see also p.118), another appeared in Flugsport, date unknown.

White died Te Puia Springs, New Zealand, 23-7-1988.
