He-111 2./KG27 1G+BB; May 13,1940 Belgium
Good evening gents,
Above mentioned plane hit by AA and airfights, 29 Km SW from Brussels. Returned afterwards back to base, but OOO( no repair possible). Ofw.Flgr Schütt K. was the pilot of this A/C, wounded and POW. Who has info about the 3 other crewmembers ( Bm - Bf - Bs )? Thanks, Fredcompa |

Re: He-111 2./KG27 1G+BB; May 13,1940 Belgium
Since only one crew member was slightly wounded the other ones are not mentioned.
Also Schütt was not the pilot but the Bordfunker, and he was not taken PoW but the a/c returned to base, albeit damaged and then written-off. And finally the a/c was not from 2./KG27 but Stab I./KG27. Pieter |
