December 19, 1943 Croatia

I'm doing some research on a Obergefreiter (yellow or orange tabs) of the Luftwaffe Leonhard Hoslinger who died and was buried in Zegrab (Agram), Croatia December 19, 1943.

I want to find out what was going on during the day of his death, what operations were going on and also, more of his background. I've exhausted my abilies and would love some help of the expertise of this forum. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Thank you for your information and the correction, you are correct it is Leonhard Haslinger and I am happy you found my guy. I have his obituary card and some of his personal information including his date of birth and death.
Might I ask how you found him?
Also, what do you think "airport gorica" is?

Airfleid Gorica was attacked on that date by Partisans, about 20 of German personnel were killed and a/f had to be abandoned. At least one a/c (Cant Z.1007) was destroyed.
