I./ZG 26 in 1943/44
Can someone tell me the Gruppenkommandeure (Commanders) of the Zerstörergruppe I./ZG 26 in 1943/44?
This unit, equipped with Bf110G (later Me410), existed from Oct 1943 to Juli 1944 when it was redesignated in I./JG 6. In 1944 this group saw heavy losses against allied forces over Germany, one of them was the Gruppenkommandeur Hptm. Peter Hayn, killed on 11.01.1944 (Bf110G-2, 6411).
