FW 190 Werknummer 701469
Hi,
I got this back part of a German Revi 16b with a hand-painted aircraft Werknummer on it. It's 701469 which points to a FW190. Is that right? Is there any Information on that aircraft? By the end of war it would have been based at Amberg-Schafhof airfield, from where this part originatates. Regards Matthias |

Re: FW 190 Werknummer 701469
Hello Matthias,
I am quite sure that this gun sight originates from a He111 H-20, WNr 701 469 (upper gun turret). Isn´t there a "BL" visible, standing for plane "B" of the 3. Staffel ("L") of -maybe - TG 30? Karl |

Re: FW 190 Werknummer 701469
Hi Karl,
thank you very much for your fast help! Both letters "B" and "L" are visible below the Werknummer. Do you have any further information on that aircraft? Matthias |
