BofB Me109 pilot info.......

Hiya all
Trying to find any info, pictures, fate and unit etc of hptm Arnim Ettling. Only have a name can any one help. I know he was a Me109 pilot and flew in the BofB.

(n.d.) with J/88 of the Condor Legion in Spain. 01.07.39 Hptm., trf from I./JG 88 to I./JG 76. 13.12.39 in Stab/JG 77, appt Staka 1./JGr. 102. 01.02.40 appt Staka 1./ZG 2 (to 05.40). 05.40 acting Kdr. of III./JG 2. 05.40 appt Staka 7./JG 2 (to 06.40). 18.09.41 Hptm., appt Gruppenleiter in Jagdfliegervorschule 3 (to 18.12.41). Credited with 8 victories.

From the Kracker database:

III./JG-2 (5/40)Bf 109 E; Spanish Cross, EK 1 & 2, Fighter Operational Clasp, One known victory, his 1st, a Hawk-75A west of Compiegne, 21 May, 1940. His 2nd, a Hawk-75A on 31 May, 1940, no location. 1941-12-18, Jagdfl.Vorschule 3, Ar 96B-3, 964321, Iglau bei Wien-Schwechat, Überschlag beim Start nach Notlandung infolge Schlechtwetter. Bruch 15 %.
Flugzeugführer Hptm Ettling, Armin, verletzt

Even though Matti's is the literal translation, doesn't it make more sense that it should read, 'overturned in forced/emergency landing after take-off due to bad weather'? And 'verletzt' is injured versus 'verwundet', wounded.

From NVM I got an impression that the pilot had made an emercency landing on a field due to bad weather. When trying to fly the aircraft back to the base, it overturned during start.
Due to language difficulties I write always the original German text in my answers and give the readers to interprete the content in their own language.
