KG 54 losses, June 1941
I have a problem with three KG 54 Ju 88 damaged during the first days of "Barbarossa". Which dates of their crashes are correct? I have complete loss info but it is impossible to read dates.
Ju 88 A-5 W.Nr. 3338 (35%) - 23, 25 or 26.06.41 (?) Ju 88 A-6 W.Nr. 3365 (20%) - 25 or 26.06.41 (?) Ju 88 A-6 W.Nr. 4222 (30%) - 23, 25 or 26.06.41 (?) Thanks! |

3338 Ju 88 A-5 I/KG 54 (Luftflotte 4 East)
OPS (F) belly landed (35% Er) at Swidnik 23.06.1941 (BO Obgfr. Richard Weber inj and BS Obgefr. Erich Busse killed <added in losses amendment y/04.07.41>) 3365 was KG 51 MIA (Belgrade) 07.04.41, closest KG 54 is 3363 (below) 3363 Ju 88 A-6 II/KG 54 (Luftflotte 4 East) OPS (F) pilot error (20% Er) at Zwidnik 24.06.1941 4222 Ju 88 A-6 II/KG 54 (Luftflotte 4 East) OPS (F) techn. problem and force landed (30% Er) at Swidnik 25.06.1941 Source: Own GQM losses BA-MA Microfiche |
