We have nobody by that name in our 31,000 officer database. Neither does Kracker. I attempted to find him under variations of the spelling without luck. Could you please check the spelling?

hi Michal,
so the reason is given "Absturz bei Umschulung" this suggest he was before inb a Kampf or Zerstörergeschwader,

Re: Hptm. Hans Heyder Stab/SG 3

Great!!!

There is fully detailed story of his death in local chronicle. After crash there left only part of his skin with hairs. Village was besieged because one inhabitant who worked for Germans at Hradec Králové A/F, claimed machine gun was stolen from wreck. It was totally nonsens, because plane was so highly destroyed that from machine guns left only pieces. German Luftwaffe Officer confirmed on place of crash that machine guns could not be after crash not only functionable but as well in whole.

I am wonder when he was shot down nearby Gosport how he and his pilot could evaded and not to be taken POW?

By the way, is clear who could shot him?

Once again thanks for cooperation

Best

That does not mean their Stuka was s/d near Gosport only that crew members were wounded over there.

Re: Hptm. Hans Heyder Stab/SG 3

The Bruch ?% probably means that the aircraft was not enough damaged over Gosport to be reported (meaning it could easily be repaired by the unit) but both crew were wounded.

Example: a RAF fighter breaking a cockpit panel and showering both crew with fragments. A mechanic will only have to replace one panel or two but both crew could be grounded due to nasty cuts.
