Planquadraten 1943

If anyone has a copy of the Luft-navigationkarte for the North Sea used by Wekusta units in 1943, perhaps they can give me the Lat./Long. co-ordinates for the following squares: 053 276; 053 164/263; 053 1632.

Re: Planquadraten 1943

The region referenced by the grid numbers is somewhat ambiguous, so if you are refering to region 05 Ost (49° N to 59° N, and 0° to 10° E), then the numbers correspond to:

05 3276 = 51 °7' N 3° 25' E
05 3164 = 50 °37' N 3° 35' E
05 3263 = 51° 27' N 3 °53' E
05 31632 = 50° 27' N 3° 55' E

If the region is 06 Ost (59 ° N to 69 ° N, 0° to 10°E), then add 10 degrees to the latitude.
