"The Outlaw", B-17G 43-39034 838th BS /487th Bomb Group

Hello,

Is anyone in the possession of the book named "The photo history of the 487th Bomb Group"?

I'm interested in obtaining a copy (digital image, scan) of a photograph shown in it, namely that of B-17G serial number 43-39034 called "The Outlaw".

Why my particular interest?

I'm a Belgian local historian and interested in the photo of "The Outlaw" because the crew who flew it, namely that of pilot Eugene Wolfenberger, previously crashlanded in a Belgian village called Sint-Agatha-Rode, near where I live.

This particular crashlanding occurred on 15 February 1945. The B-17 involved beared serial number 43-38015, and was called "Lazy Lady".

I was in contact with the widow of pilot Wolfenberger. Unfortunately she hasn't got picture of the "The Outlaw" showing its nose art . I'm just curious how Gene Wolfenberger's B-17 The Outlaw s/n 43-39034 looked like. As I bear a special interest in the Wolfenberger crew.

I thank you for any help you can give me.
Regards
Dirk
