Dear friends
I need some help.
I try write articles about RAF fighter pilots for some czech magazines, but I haven´t any photos which I can use ( problem with copyright).
Can somebody advise me, where I can obtain some photos?
(I know IWM London database and www.ww2images.com)

Try to search through the archives of this forum, there were some discussions concerning copyright problems. In regard of photos, apart of archives and researchers, the only other sources that come to my mind are airmen/their families and free market (eg. ebay).

I'm amazed at the amount being charged for photos. I sell a lot of photo reprints from my collection but for $3-$4 for a 4 x 6 glossy. Why all the gouging???? I have about 15,000 photos of WWII AAF/USN/USMC but sorry little RAF except for the Eagle Squadrons. I'm sorry I can't help you.

Have you tried with the Imperial War Museum?

IWM and other archives are killers in terms of various fees. An average payment is I believe about 25 Euros per page, at least in Poland and you need about 3-4 photos per page, even more. Then calculate yourself.

I agree with Franek. Charges (for example in IWM) are too high for student from CZ.
