Photos of ER-4?

Hi;

I'm looking for detail photos of the German ER-4 bomb rack adapter. I found a tiny one that I have attached, think this is from a Bf 110E manual of some type, but not clear what the source was.

There seems to be a real dearth of information about bombs and particularly bomb racks for Luftwaffe aircraft......

Re: Photos of ER-4?

To update my own post, the source of the picture, it turns out, is L.Dv.T.2110 E/Bo, "Bf 110E Bedienungsvorschrift-Bo". I finally managed to find a copy on-line.

Seems there is a manual devoted to this piece of equipment, D.(luft) T.7211 for the E Rost 4 /ETC 50. However, I have not been able to find a copy of this anywhere, at any price.

And so the search continues. I am also looking for any info on the ETC501 rack, as it was installed in the Fw 190A. There are several dozen books on the Fw 190, but nothing that I've found so far that deals with bomb racks and etc. for this aircraft........

Re: Photos of ER-4?

Judging from your request, this may not be eactly what you require, however it will be a start. Photos of the ER-4 appeared in the old Monogram Close-Up 8, on the Fw 190F on page 11 while detailed drawing views of the ETC 501 were first created by D.H. Coosey for the English Scale Models magazine many years ago. Subsequently, excellent scale drawings of these carriers can be found in Arthur l. Bentley's fine work. Re: Photos of ER-4?

Hello @ all,

found this in an old magazine called "Luftfahrt international" (see attached JPEG below). Hopefully it may be of some help.

Best Regards
Norbert
