Re: Doriner Shot down by 611 Squadron 1941?

If Barrie Heath is connected to the shooting down of the aircraft the panel came from his Dornier claims from what I have are; 21-8-40 claimed one Do17 probable, 611 Sqd engaged Do17s of KG3 two collided in the combat crashing near Alford (no Fw POW ) others down in the sea, 11-10-40 611 Sqd engaged Do17s of KFG/606 two down in the sea Barrie claimed a Prob., 21-12-40 Barrie and another pilot claimed a D017 damaged possily Do215 of 7(F)?LG2 which returned with a dead crewman, 29-12-40 Barrie claimed a Do17 damaged a Do17 of KG2 returned with two wounded crewmen but I believe this has been linked to a claim by S/L Tuck. My notes have 611 Sqd linKed to a Do215 loss on 2-7-40 over the sea, Do215 VB+KK on the 21-9-40 crashlanded Trawsfyndd, Meriouth 3 POWs ( Barrie in one of the Fw's flight gear) and 1 Killed, possibly the source of the panel ?

Question Re: Doriner Shot down by 611 Squadron 1941?

"Dornier 215" shot down 11 September 1940??

http://www.611squadronrauxaf.co.uk/i...JackLeath.html

Yet Squadron own Claim record doesnt show Do 215 lost 11 Sept 1940!
http://www.611squadronrauxaf.co.uk/h...batclaims.html

It was put to use however:
