Hi could anybody provide the usual loss detail for the incident below.

Re: Heinkel 111H 2/KG53 18.11.40

Steve,

We carry similar info in the Luft EoE Loss DB: "November 19, 1940: 2./KG53 Heinkel He111H-5 (3564). Crash-landed at Vitry-en-Artois following sortie, cause not stated. FF Lt Kurt Lehmann, BO Uffz Karl Rehm, BF Obergefr Ernst Knauer, and HS Gefr Werner Voigtländer all slightly injured. Aircraft 80% damaged - write-off."

Would certainly appreciate photos if anyone has same for this crash.

Regards,

Hi Larry, thank you for details concerning the EoE incident for Lehmann.
Unfortunately i haven't located any photos of this crash landing.

I wonder whether you could possibly help once more with another similar querie.

15.9.40 He111H-2 A1+JL 3/KG53 3 wounded when returning from ops over London and ultimately forced landing at Boulogne.
Does the EoE list the wounded crewmen?

Kindest regs,
Steve.
