Sgt Gordon F Breckon, 609, 501 & 72 Sqn
This NZ pilot was shot down 3 times. First time he states he was bounced south of London and crash-landed. 2nd time was with 72 Sqn on 17 Jul 41 when he crash-landed on Ramsgate beach and the final time was again with 72 Sqn when he was shot down and taken POW on 24 Jul 41. Has anyone got any details on the first incident and a serial for his Spitfire on 17 Jul 41?
