Stirling EE937 HA-A "Knight Crew" 218. Sqn
Hello,
looking for all Info`s about the loss of Stirling III EE 937 HA-A which went down after Hannover Raid on 27./28. Sept.1943 in the vicinity of Eldagsen / Northern Germany with P.O. W.F.C. Knight DFC and his Crew. Every Help and Support are very welcome... Thanks in advance, Streak98

This a/c was brought down by a combination of Flak & a night fighter, I have the following NF claim that can probably be tied to this loss:
Uffz. Ernst Reitmeyer: 2 3./NJG5 Stirling 24 km. S. Hannover: 1.000 m. 23.25 prob. 218 Sqn Stirling EE937 Do you happen to have a photo of the a/c & its crew? Cheers, Theo

Thank`s a lot for the Details about the Loss of Stirling EE937. It`s a pitty, but I`ve no Pictures from the Crew or the Aircraft. I also send a message to the 218. Sqn Website with an request but until today without an result... No answer !!! Greetings streak98 (Dirk)
