Oberst Walter Grabmann
What position in the chain of command did Oberst Walter Grabmann fill in Luftflotte 3 in January, 1944? And then after the "Imminent
Danger West" directive of 5 February, 1944, where was he in the CoC? Did the Jagdgeschwaderkommodores of Luftflotte 3 report directly to Grabmann? How did that work? Throw me a bone, I'm trying to figure this out. Thanks! Bronc |

Oberst Walter Grabmann
Oberst Grabmann's Focke Wulf is very interesting to me. Is it a Red X and Bar? I've never seen it illustrated in books. (PS: Nope. Just found the third image. The X and Bar was Yellow.)
The second photo shows Grabmann talking to Heinz Bar with Walter Oesau looking on. Bronc Last edited by Broncazonk; 15th January 2021 at 22:31. |
