If I recall correctly, these stenciles show the place and date the aircraft was repaired (remanufatured).

Perfect, thank you both of you!
So, we know when the museum exemplary has been remanufactured from a G-6/AS to a G-6, that's it? Is it possible to get Kister's "Rote 82" (White camo) WNr. with that indication? Cheers, Franck.

I read the second photograph you posted as “hll 16-11-44,” which would have made it: hll = Amme-Luther-Seck-Werk GmbH, Wien XXV-Atzgersdorf, Steinerstr.. 480 (A), a know Bf109 repair center. Steve Sheflin
