P.S. In my sity lived a pilot of a IL2 Sturmovik, Hero of Soviet Union, who (i think that) KILLED Otto Kittel on 16 febr. 1945.I have a talk whith him. He flew over Dzukste in that time when Kittel been killed, and claimed a Fw190. I think you will be interest. Unfortunatly, he died 4 month ago.

Be patient, answers may come. There are not many books published on Zerstörers. I would suggest you look for the books of John Vasco and study the Zerstörer-units info presented on Michael Holm Luftwaffe site. Doing a google search will lead you to the requested info.

If you're also interested in smaller units (and if you can read German) - here's a book about the Zerstörerstaffel of JG 5: Eismeerjäger Band 1 (by Eric Mombeek)

Re: Zerstorer.Pilots, units, claims.

Hello all!
Sorry for my previous quote, I was angry because I?ve been shot down 5 times playing flight sim in my Me410/U4 ?.

I?m very interested about Zerstorer (My friend?s grandfather was shot down in La 5 by Bf110 on Summer 1943 ,he was injured but survived the war).

Our virtual squad decided to make a serious historical page about Bf110&Me410. I?ve made a claims lists of all units, info about it I can find. But there is no info about Eastern claims of ZG 26, ZG 2 & SKG 210 in 1941-1942.
I used O.K.L. Fighter Claims 1939 - 1944 documents for this work. Also there is no info about I./ZG 52 claims, pilots & bases.

I need info about:

Veterans ? are there alive veterans of Zerstorer units, have they any books about their activities.

Emblems of staffel?s, gruppen?s (especially ZG 1), geschwader?s.

Claim lists (full as it can be), specially ZG

Biographies of Kiel, Macrocki, Kaldrack, Blechschmidt, Dassow, and another Zerstorer experten.

Technical info about Bf110, Me410.

Thank you all 4 answer.My email - zerstorer@front.ru

Whith best wishes,

Commander of I./ZG 48 ?Voss?, Eugen ?bersrk? Gross.

Hi!

You supposed to use the next publications:

Squadron/Signal Publications: Messerschmitt Bf110 Zerstörer In Action
ISBN: 0-89747-029-X

Squadron/Signal Publications: Walk Around Messerschmitt Bf110G
ISBN: 0-89747-420-1

And following links about unit emblems,

and Zerstörer aces,
