In German documents, the location of victories is often coded. I know the system of squares (EQ-5), but mean that the location: 05 Ost S/20378 ? Thank you for your help.

Location of victories

Hello AbbevilleBoy

Have you read the synopsis written by Andreas Brekken at http://www.stormbirds.com/eagles/res...gradnetz.html? There is also a online tool that you can use to convert these map codes to latitude and longitude positions at www.gyges.dk/LUMA.xls. The guide towards its usage is found at http://www.gyges.dk/LUMA%20Guide%20v2007%2005.pdf. I hope this helps.

Horrido!

Leo

The Excel file is easy to use and very useful. A big thanks to its creator, by the way.
