Bf 110 G9+#M ID?
Trying to ID the full codes on a Bf 110 (E or F?). I have a view of partial codes G9+#M. I can only make out a portion of the aircraft letter. Possibilities are G9+HM, G9+MM, G9+NM. Aircraft finished in greys with nine white victory markings on the rudder.
Any insight greatly appreciated! Mark Proulx |

Re: Bf 110 G9+#M ID?
Hello,
Possibly the Bf 110G-4 G9+-M, of Oblt Walter Barte, Staka 4./NJG1, c. June 1943. You will find a photo here: Night Airwar:Personal Recollections of the Conflict over Europe, 1939-45. Boiten,Theo. Marlborough:Crowood Press,1999. p.51 Sorry, no scanner. Col. |
