Helmut Haugk

Hi guys

I am looking for any loss list incidents involving this ace. I am aware that he was involved in such on the following dates:

29 September 1939: Unteroffizier Helmut Haugk of 3./ZG 26 shot down and wounded in Bf 109 D-1 (W.Nr. 481) in aerial combat with RAF Hampden twin-engined bomber, ditched southeast of Helgoland
29 January 1944: bailed out following aerial combat
16 March 1944: bailed out following aerial combat

Could anyone add any details to the above and/or other incidents that I have not included? Many thanks.

Horrido!

Leo

Hello Jim

Many thanks for answering my post. Even though they are not specifically related to Helmut Haugk they certain will help me in regards to his brother of whom I knew next to nothing prior to your response. Many thanks indeed and best wishes.

Horrido!

Hello Leo,

on 16th March´44 Helmut Haugk took off from Leipheim. Homrighausen was the second man on board when they had to bail out after combat with Mustangs.

Hello Karl

Many thanks for your additional information and the details it contains. Anything that I can find on either of these two Ritterkreuzträgers is most welcome.

Horrido!

Leo
