Re: A few photos 10-17

Great finds, Ed, many thanks!

Wish I would know where those Ju 88 G-1 and Fw 190 F-8 were found. Of interest is the fact that the trees are without leaves... Winter 1945 - 1946?

Cheers
Marc

Re: A few photos 10-17

@ edwest,

very rare and interesting pictures indeed and i am joining Marc-André: thanks for these.
Of special note may be the He 111 (last link) with that very small unit code "1H" (KG 26) left of the Balkenkreuz on the fuselage.

Re: A few photos 10-17

Hello Neil,

Definitely a Bf109G-2 (Octane triangle over the number does indicate a Gustav. Small tail Wheel ... big chance to be a G-2) Neil.
JG 54 most probably. 1942 ... Need somebody to check the right Prien volume to count the scoreboard, if available. Problem 'cause it was very fast ...
Chris did suggest 8+9, and 8 for 8.Staffel ? Nice try!! But I cannot see any wave on photo.

So, yes 10467

Cheers, Franck.
