Fw-190 unit identity
Ths is from "Fighters over Tunisia", which had some great photos.
The Fw-190 was supposedly shot down over Souk El Arba A/F. No unit markings and there is a indistinct three digit number on the tail, probably part of the Wrk No. Last edited by kaki3152; 22nd April 2014 at 21:15. |

Re: Fw-190 unit identity
Ok, I'm going to try to identify.
It looks like there is a faded "7" on the fuselage. 4-24-43 11/SKG 10 FW190A-5 0150 1208 "Yellow 7" Uffz Friedrich Rott POW 1820 belly landing -shot down by Spitfires. "FW-190 in North Africa" Arthy/Jemsen Any other options? |
