I recognized the emblem of the KG 4 in the center, and the larger image reveals a face-on view of a late-medieval jousting helm at the top. The rather busy decoration around the outside may be a wreath or other 'foliage'. My GUESS would be this is from the Stab.

Thank you G.R. I'm simply on a treasure hunt and it seems new discoveries are around almost every corner. The other part is the thrill of adding to the historical record and filling in the missing pieces of the Luftwaffe story.

I'm looking forward to 2013 as well. Last year, I was ill and others filled in. As I continue to improve, I hope to add more.

No, no. They are just looking for more people to kidnap, and will offer to take you off the planet for a large fee, either in American Dollars or British Pounds. Ignore the zipper on the back of their costumes.
