Major William M Long
Major William M Long O-407087 flew with 353rd Fighter Group in March, 1945. I have been told that he also was a B-17 pilot. What unit did he fly bombes with ? And what happend to him after the war ?

He was a B-24 pilot in the 491st Bomb Group, where he flew 31 missions. He later flew P-51s in the 353rd FG. He retired from the Air Force after serving 33 years.
