I'm seeking the first names or initials of the following, please:

P/O ? Lindsell 1 Sqn 6/40
P/O C.F. Atkinson 151 Sqn 6/40
P/O ? Maxwell 151 Sqn 6/40
P/O ? Walker 65 Sqn 6/40
F/O I.D. Rochfort 53 Sqn 6/40
F/L ? Bartlett 53 Sqn 6/40

Any help can save much time searching at TNA.

Hello Brian,
A bit of a long shot I know but here is a Defiant link.
Defiant L7025 s/d into the sea by Bf109's 2 miles off Herne Bay, Kent 26th August 1940.
F/O I. R.Stephenson baled out ok. Sgt. W. Maxwell missing.

Your P/O Maxwell of 151 Sqn Also used Defiants and your date is June.
Just might be the same man ??

Then there was from your "Aegean" book a F/O "Jock" Maxwell ??

76462 Thomas Cairns Peattie Maxwell

Hello Brian,
Paul must have the right man.
From Sgt in 1939 to sqdn Ldr with DFC in 1948.
see london Gazette, note the 5th January 1940 page has both service numbers.
