No.601 RAF fighter Squadron Hurricanes
Hello
I am trying to match up the aircraft serial number to the squadron individual letter in this case is the Hawker Hurricanes Mk.I of No.601 RAF Squadron during the battle of Britain. These aircraft were flown by P/O/ William Pancoast Clyde who claimed 9 +1 shared plus 2 probable 1 shared damaged P2690 UF-? P3393 UF-? L1951 UF-? P3230 UF-? After the war he ended living in Acapulco, Guerrero Mexico cheers Santiago |

Re: No.601 RAF fighter Squadron Hurricanes
In "Aces High", the bio of McGRATH John Keswick Ulick Blake (90967)
shows claims in P2690 "S" on 11 July and 8, 11-15 August 1940. |
