I'm sure the ORB will say more, but other info refers to "missing after air operations".
A casualty list for the Thunder Bay, Ontario, district says "KIA Dutch coast" for V.G. Desourdy.

Bristol Beaufighter 235 Sqdn RAF IC T5133 LA-F Took off on Patrol. *On the return track the Beaufighter disappeared. P/O Vincent George DESOURDY, J/6400 - RCAF and Sgt Geoffrey Eric LEE, 922541 commemorated on Runnymede Panel 100 and 88.

235 Sqn Diary entry: North and South Patrols were flown by F (P/O Desourdy & Sgt Lee) and a/c A (Sgt Woodcock & Sgt Ginger). a/c F failed to return to base. A search was organised with no results.

Also has . . . One a/c D failed to return from Vaaro Sgt Windsor & Sgt Gwynn missing.
