Re: MACR 6400

Peter -
You should also post this at www.armyairforces.com
Several members have access to www.fold3 which has MACRs.

Re: MACR 6400

Peter,

Are names of crewmembers for this Macr known ? At first sight it is not available at Fold3, but perhaps it can be traced back by searching with the name(s) of crewmember(s).

Best regards

Luc

Re: MACR 6400

No MACR, but some links with some details on this loss:
_ pilot story: http://www.legionpost50ny.com/Heroes_WWII.html
_ the crew list: http://hloubkari.cz/forum/index.php?topic=1064.5;wap2
_ a crash location: http://forum.armyairforces.com/42522...8-m157244.aspx

More about the battles of this day (in Slovak, and not related to this particular plane, but to set the context):

Re: MACR 6400

There is one page of the MACR on fold3.com (attached to a different MACR because of the mention of another crew that was lost)
(see attachment below)

There is also a write up on page 16-17 on this link.
