Source for loss of Ar 196 WNr. 623163

I have a loss for an Ar 196, which is the only documented evidence for a WNr. in the 62316x series:

21.09.44 Teilst./126 Ar 196A-5 623163 D1+NK 100% East of Trikori/Kathnos. Shot down by ships flak while on operational sortie.

I can't for the life of me remember ithe source for the loss information.
Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Hans

Hello Hans,

source for this Werknummer is NVM from WASt. The original report is damaged, but the Werknummer is clearly readable.

Hello Hans,

I have it exactly, like you wrote it, in my book.

21.09.44 Teilstab /126 Ar 196 A5 (D1+NK, W.Nr. 623163) 100% von Schiffsflak östlich Trikeri-Insel Kythnos abgeschossen.

My source, if i remember well, was Freiburg.

Charles,

thank you very much, this certainly helps! It also explains why I could not readily find it.

Byron,

of course it would be in your book, I should have thought of that. Thank you for the correction of the name of the island.

Regards

Hans
