What Geschwaders were involved in the "Hull Blitz" (Kingston upon Hull)
I am doing a research for a an art work on the "Hull Blitz". Does any one know the prominent Geschwaders (Kampfgeschwader & Jagdgeschwader) involved in the air raids on Kingston upon Hull? The raids first started in April 1940 and came to their peak in 1941 but continued sporadically till 1945.
Any Information would be helpful

For the Blitz itself I suggest you get hold of my book The Luftwaffes Blitz or failing that The Blitz Then & Now. No Jagdgeschwader were ever involved

Thank you Chris for the great information. I went down to our local library, it just happens to have a very good large military section. I managed to find three volumes of The Blitz: Then and Now. Very nice (heavy) books, I will be defiantly taking these out again. I plan on picking up a copy of your book when a new one comes available through Amazon.
