Republican Aces?
Any comments on the quality of Osprey's Spanish Republican Aces, part of their "Aces" series? Propaganda from the time, and later, often influences "historical" writing, so I am a little leary.

I have this book and found it informative. The author points out that there are no credible official data on aerial victories from the SCW. Using what sources are available, he has compiled some plausible biographies of the unit commanders and notable pilots. All in all, it's a good effort IMO.
