Hello to all,

Please can anyone help with a query.
On 3-2-1944 is a Fw190 [no further info] lost in Gieten-bonnerveen .[Holland]
The only know is 100% bruch ,not JG or pilot, on that day there was not a bombing mission to north-germany from US bombers.
I really appreciate any kind of information

Harrie,

Better ask Bas Maathuis (the editor for the Dutch loss list by SGLO) where this info comes from.

Regards,

John

John Harrie,

Info from the archives of municipality Gieten. I've got nothing more than you already have.

On 3-Feb-44 US bombers attacked Wilhelmshafen and Emden, III/JG11 lost a Fw190 pilot killed at Eckwarden plus two more Fw 190s with places unknown and pilots safe. One of these might be a possiblity.
