B-24 Crash
Hi All,
Can anyone help with a crash of a USAAF bomber, probably a B-24 which crashed on 26th June 1943 near to the village of Little Compton, Oxfordshire-Warwickshire border, I believe 7 killed but there are conflicting reports given to me by a local man. I would be grateful for any help, thanking you in advance. Mike C |

Re: B-24 Crash
Mike,
According this website http://www.aviationarchaeology.org.u...rashes1943.htm the B-24 was 42-63762 of 93rd BG/409th BS. Just scroll down to 26/06/1943 for more details about the accident. Regards, Leendert |
