Sr Lt. Zelenkin 813 IAP

Just finished reading about this interesting character. looking at his victories he appears to have shared in the destruction of a Ju88 at some point but I can't see a date for this (he has an individual kill on 9.8.43) or whom he shared it with.

He also shot down a Ju87 on 31.08.43 (shared) but does anyone know with whom? His normal wingman was Lt Tyuterev.

regards

Keith

He shot down 1 Ju 88 on 09Aug43 at Yushkovo but no shared Ju 88. He shared a He 111 on 10Aug43 at Yushkovo-Zamosh'e and another shared He 111 at Mar'ino on the 29Aug43. The Ju 87 on the 31Aug43 was a personal victory at El'nya. The 30Aug43 was a shared Ju 87 at El'nya.

Odd. I am using information on the official scorecard which lists 28 individual and 5 shared claims (I think - it's in Russian) and the types. It gives dates of each claim but the tallies indicate a shared Ju88 (no details) and 2 shared Ju87 (30th and 31st) as well as the shared Heinkels.

It might be a misprint I suppose.

Mikhail Bykov's book indicates 26 personal and 3 group in 326 combat sorties.
