Canadian spitfire Pilot crash near Village Oberschwarzach or Schwarzach Germany
Hello all,
due anybody have the name of this canadian Pilot where was crash 1944/45 near the Village Oberschwarzach or Schwarzach with his Spitfire? Thanks regards Klaus |

Hm I remember well - if asking in germany for a plane crash in WW 2 -
in most cases got the answer - "A american/british bomber , the crew was all tall like trees Canadians" Its real funny. khorat |

a Eyewithness told me that it was a canadien, but you know everything is possible, maibe it was a british pilot, i am not sure. Thanks Henk regards Klaus |

Very difficult Klaus, probably a Canadian and 1944/1945 !! Could be British, American, etc. Names of Schwarzach or Oberschwarzach not in my files. I believe we do more accurate info on date and fate of the airman.

There is a two-volume book on Canadian Spritfire pilots by the late R. Bracken. Check them out.

Also the French Airforce was active in that area so a P-47 could be another option.
